Michael Tabor's Left Bank pressed the early pace then inched clear to win Saturday's $105,900 Bold Ruler Handicap (gr. III) at Belmont Park. Just after crossing the finish line Left Bank ducked, unseating jockey John Velazquez.

Affirmed Success Wins Toboggan by Two Lengths

Affirmed Success, an 8-year-old gelding ridden by Richard Migliore, came from off the pace Saturday to win the $108,200 Toboggan Handicap at Aqueduct by two lengths. This was the first victory in three starts this year for Affirmed Success, the oldest horse to ever win the Toboggan.

Stronach Stable's Wrangler moved on the outside as the field left the turn and headed into the stretch and went on to an easy victory in the General George Stakes (gr. II) that highlighted Monday's President's Day card at Laurel Park.

Einar P. Robsham's The Goo led early and took command down the stretch, drawing off to a 6 1/2-length victory in Belmont Park's Friday feature, a $43,000 allowance sprint for 2-year-olds. Evening Attire finished second in the six-horse field, another 1 3/4 lengths ahead of Wrangler.
