Live Oak Plantation's My Typhoon, purchased as a weanling for $2.9 million, heads a competitive field of nine in Saturday's $150,000-added Mrs. Revere (gr. IIT) for 3-year-old fillies on the turf at Churchill Downs.
Mitchell Ranch's grade I winner Leave Me Alone tops a contentious field of a dozen 3-year-old fillies entered in Saturday's $300,000 Lexus Raven Run (gr. II) at Keeneland.
Graded stakes winners Bohemian Lady and Josh's Madelyn lead a field of 10 entered in Saturday's $175,000 Turfway Breeders' Cup (gr. III) for fillies and mares at 1 1/16 miles at Turfway Park.
A field of six fillies passed the entry box for Saturday's Mother Goose Stakes (gr. I) at Belmont Park. The 1 1/8-mile contest features a who's who of 3-year-olds and marks the grade I debut of Black-Eyed Susan Stakes (gr. II) winner Spun Sugar. She'll need to get by Kentucky Oaks (gr. I) star Summerly, though, if she is to take home top prize.
Acey Deucey will try to continue her ascent in the 3-year-old filly sprint ranks when she battles seven horses in the $200,000 Nassau County Breeders' Cup Stakes (gr. II) at Belmont Park Saturday.
After two worthy but losing efforts in grade I company, Sis City found the competition in Saturday's Demoiselle (gr. II) Stakes to her liking, rolling to a 3-3/4 length front-end victory for Aqueduct's leading trainer, Richard Dutrow Jr.
Sis City, owned in part by New York Yankees manager Joe Torre, is the filly to beat in Saturday's $200,000 Demoiselle (gr. II) for 3-year-old fillies at 1 1/8 miles.
