The National Thoroughbred Racing Association March 28 released the 2006 Annual Report for its Political Action Committee, Horse PAC. New to the PAC Board in 2007 is owner/breeder Tracy Farmer. Peggy Hendershot, NTRA vice president of legislative and corporate planning, has been appointed PAC president.

First Foals for Three Lane's End Stallions

The first reported foals sired by Mingun, the group III-winning son of A.P. Indy and Miesque, arrived on Jan. 26, according to William S. Farish's Lane's End Farm. The first foals of multiple grade I winner Rock Hard Ten and 2003 Canadian Horse of the Year and Triple Crown winner Wando were also reported.
