The largest, deepest pool of equine talent ever assembled has arrived in Kentucky. And, no, it's not the contenders for the 2010 Breeders' Cup World Championships.
Late summer means weaning time at many farms so I'm photographing the youngsters as they transition from foals to weanlings. Plans are to photograph the weaning process sometime in August.
The Kentucky Horse Park has undergone a major renovation as it prepares for its biggest hour yet.
Woodbine Entertainment Group announced July 8 it is suspending its "Turbo-charged Pick 6" wager promotion, while leaving open the option of bringing it back later in the season or for special events.
