Blue Horse Charities, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fasig-Tipton, is awarding $218,685 to 52 non-profit Thoroughbred adoption and retraining centers this year. The non-profit charities were chosen to receive grants based on the number of horses they placed into new permanent homes after retirement from racing.

Thoroughbred Charities of America has announced a gift of $250,000 from a donor who wishes to remain anonymous. The fund will be used to create a permanent endowment for TCA to assure future grant giving. TCA has granted more than $12 million over the past 16 years, to nearly 200 organizations in 35 states.
