Stormy Pick Wires Field for Spinaway Victory

Raymond Dweck's Stormy Pick zipped to a wire-to-wire victory over eight other 2-year-old fillies in Friday's $200,000 Spinaway Stakes (gr. I) at Saratoga, giving freshman sire Storm Creek a leg up on his competition in the list of leading first-crop sires.

Stormy Pick Wins Sorority in Slop

Raymond Dweck's Stormy Pick dueled early with the previously unbeaten With Ability before running away to a 1 3/4-length victory over Zonk in the $150,000 Sorority Stakes (gr. III) Saturday at Monmouth Park. Under Jose Ferrer, Stormy Pick completed the six furlongs in 1:10.96 over a sloppy track.
