There was a time when "the other Dan" was Wise Dan, who went on to become Horse of the Year. On April 21 fans will witness the return of the original, Successful Dan, in the $150,000 Ben Ali Stakes at Keeneland.

Game On Dude and Ron the Greek, horses with contrasting styles but both possessing a victory in the Santa Anita Handicap (gr. I), are the clear standouts in the marquee event for handicap horses March 2 at Santa Anita Park.
Called to Serve registered his third straight bullet work in preparation for the Santa Anita Handicap (gr. I) when he went five furlongs on Santa Anita Park's fast main track Feb. 22 in :59 1/5 with Gary Stevens up.
Trainer Bob Baffert and owners Gary and Mary West had nothing to apologize for after favored Guilt Trip gave them their second grade II win of the afternoon in the $200,000 Strub Stakes Feb. 2 at Santa Anita Park.
Fed Biz, who outlasted Tritap by a head in the San Fernando Stakes (gr. II), will meet his rival once again in the $200,000 Strub Stakes (gr. II) Feb. 2 at Santa Anita Park.
Versatile grade I winner Willy Beamin will stick to route racing when he faces an expected five other 3-year-olds in the Discovery Handicap (gr. III) on Nov. 17 at Aqueduct.

Godolphin Racing's highly-regarded Alpha rebounded from a disappointing effort in the Breeders' Cup by comfortably winning the $150,000 Count Fleet Stakes Jan. 7 at Aqueduct in his 3-year-old debut.
A field of seven sophomores was entered for the $150,000 Count Fleet Stakes Jan. 7 at Aqueduct, the first of a trio of 3-year-old races leading up to the $1 million Wood Memorial (gr. I) on April 7.
Several for the Nov. 26 Remsen Stakes (gr. II) at nine furlongs have strong black-type pedigrees. The 2-year-olds may need it--most are pretty light on experience.
