Jockey Jose Espinoza underwent successful surgery May 16 to repair his fractured right ankle which was injured in a spill during the fourth race at Belmont Park on May 13.
Wednesday, May 16, 2007Jockey Jose Espinoza, injured in a racing accident at Belmont Park, suffered a dislocated right ankle with multiple fractures and will require surgery, according to his agent, Richard DeStasio.
