The Lexus Store of Lexington has signed a three-year commitment to sponsor Keeneland's Raven Run Stakes (gr. II), to be run Oct. 22. The purse was increased to a minimum of $250,000, up from $200,000 in previous years.
Josh's Madelyn went from last to first to earn her first graded-stakes win in Thursday's $224,200 Raven Run Stakes (gr. II) at Keeneland.
Ed Friendly's Prioress (gr. I) winner Friendly Michelle tops a field of 10 3-year-old fillies entered for the sixth running of the $200,000 Raven Run Stakes (gr. II) Friday at Keeneland.
Thirteen 3-year-old fillies were entered Wednesday morning for the fifth running of the grade III, $150,000-added Raven Run, to be run at seven furlongs on Friday, Oct. 10. Contention runs deep as several of the entrants are already graded winners.
Heavily favored Sightseek overcame a sluggish start and lack of racing room on the turn to win the grade III, $171,900 Raven Run Stakes Wednesday at Keeneland.
A dozen 3-year-old fillies are entered for Wednesday's $150,000 Raven Run Stakes (gr. III) at Keeneland. Previous graded winners Miss Lodi and Take the Cake look to be the pair to beat in the seven-furlong contest.
Showing good speed and maintaining it over seven furlongs, Nasty Storm made it two wins in a row with a powerful performance in Keeneland's $100,000-added Raven Run Stakes for 3-year-old fillies Wednesday afternoon.
