Multiple graded stakes winner Phola and Mekong Melody, a grade II winner at Woodbine last month, head the field in the $200,000 Ballston Spa Handicap (gr. IIT) on the Saratoga inner turf course Aug. 28.
The star-studded Diana (gr. IT), set for July 31 at Saratoga, includes multiple grade I winners Proviso and Forever Together, as well as Phola and Maram.

Juddmonte Farms' Proviso surged late in the one-mile Just A Game Stakes (gr. I) on the Belmont Stakes undercard June 5.
In her first race since defeating West Coast males in the Frank E. Kilroe Mile Handicap (gr. IT) three months ago, Proviso takes on streaking filly Phola in the $400,000 Just a Game Handicap (gr. IT) at Belmont Park June 5.
Phola rallied from well off the pace to win the Churchill Distaff Turf Mile (gr. IIT) on Derby day. The 4-year-old filly by Johannesburg covered the mile over a yielding course in 1:38.35.
The May 1 Churchill Distaff Turf Mile (gr. IIT) has six graded/group stakes winners entered.
Local star Diva Delite notched her fifth straight win and proved herself in graded stakes company, as she rolled past rivals coming off the final turn en route to a two-length victory in the $175,000 Florida Oaks (gr. III).
A full field of 14 juvenile fillies were entered for the $150,000 JPMorgan Chase Jessamine Stakes at Keeneland Oct. 9. Though ungraded, the 1 1/16-mile turf event is the 57th and final Breeders' Cup Challenge "Win and You're In" contest of the season.
