'Peb' to Complete Churchill Derby Mural

Acclaimed Thoroughbred racing cartoonist Pierre Bellocq, better known to generations of racing fans as "Peb," is scheduled Saturday to complete a mural at the Churchill Downs new clubhouse that depicts every jockey that has won the 130 renewals of the Kentucky Derby (gr. I) .

Beverly Lewis Named Distinguished Woman in Racing

Beverly Lewis will be honored as this year's recipient of Arlington Park's 2nd annual "Penny Chenery Distinguished Woman in Racing Award." The award will be presented at an invitation-only charity luncheon to be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 12 in Arlington Park's International Room.
