Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I) winner Mucho Macho Man put in his last local work Feb. 22 at Gulfstream Park, going five furlongs in 1:02.56 on the main track at the South Florida oval. He will leave for California Feb. 23.
Frank Stronach's Adena Springs has purchased an interest from Dean and Patti Reeves in multiple grade I winner Mucho Macho Man, who will continue to be trained by Kathy Ritvo.
No decision has been made on where Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I) winner Mucho Macho Man will make his next start, but he left no doubt the morning of Feb. 8 that he is ready to run again.

Reeves Thoroughbred Racing's Mucho Macho Man breezed three furlongs at Gulfstream Park early the morning of Dec. 7, marking his first workout since capturing the $5 million Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I) Nov. 2.
So far, the blueprint for Mucho Macho Man's career has been way too simple in that you have a pretty good idea where he's going to be at the finish based on where he is at the eighth pole.
Much Macho Man, who was pulled out of consideration to defend his Gulfstream Park Handicap (gr. II) title due to a virus, has been sent to the Fair Hill Training Center, along with two stablemates.
