The champion Azeri, approaching her 2002 form when she was Horse of the Year, put on a show in her first start at Keeneland while winning the $500,000 Overbrook Spinster for fillies and mares under wraps Sunday.
Keeneland kicks off its fall race meeting in Lexington, Ky. Oct. 8 with "Fallstars Weekend" featuring seven graded stakes serving as stepping stones to the Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred Championships Oct. 30 at Lone Star Park.
Keeneland announced its fall race schedule on Thursday, and the 17-day meeting will feature 19 stakes worth $4,675,000. The meet, which will run from Oct. 8-30, will have an average daily purse of about $600,000, making their purse structure among the highest in North America.
Select Stable's Take Charge Lady overcame a wide trip and had just enough stamina to hold off a never-say-die You in winning Sunday's $500,000 Overbrook Spinster (gr. I) at Keeneland for the second straight year.
Select Stable's Take Charge Lady came out of her impressive 10 ½ -length tally in Monday's Arlington Matron Handicap (gr. III) well and will leave Arlington Park Wednesday evening on her return trip to Churchill Downs, trainer Ken McPeek said.

James Tafel LLC's Lakenheath, winner by a head in the
Arlington Matron Handicap (gr. III) at Arlington Park on Labor Day, breezed a half mile at Keeneland Thursday in :50, according to Arlington Park-based trainer Gene Cilio.
For the fifth time in the last 13 renewals, a South American-bred won the Overbrook Spinster Stakes (gr. I) when Miss Linda kicked clear in the stretch to win the $562,000 feature at Keeneland Sunday.
