Long Branch Stakes winner Micromanage will make his next start in the $1 million William Hill Haskell Invitational (gr. I) at Monmouth Park July 28, owner Mike Repole has confirmed.
My Adonis, rebounding from an eighth-place finish in the Belmont Stakes (gr. I) last month, opened up a big lead in the homestretch of the $99,000 Long Branch Stakes and held on tight to win July 8 at Monmouth Park.

Sunday's $100,000 Long Branch Breeders' Cup Stakes is Monmouth Park's major prep for the $1-million Haskell Invitational (gr. I) on Aug. 5, and this year's rendition should again springboard a few runners toward this year's race. The Long Branch, run at 1 1/16 miles, is for 3-year-olds.
