TVG to Air Singapore Cup

TVG has announced that it will televise the $1.65 million Singapore Airlines International Cup from Kranji Racecourse beginning at 11 a.m. eastern standard time Saturday, May 12. The race will be shown on a tape-delayed basis, and there will be no TVG account wagering on the contest.

Lazy Lode Gives Thoroughbred Corp. Three Winners on Santa Anita Card

Lazy Lode dueled with Eagleton through the early going before pulling away to win the $150,000 Arcadia Handicap (gr. IIT) on a yielding turf course. The win marks the second graded stakes win on the Santa Anita card for The Thoroughbred Corporation, which also owns Santa Anita Derby (gr. I) winner Point Given. The Thoroughbred Corp.'s Poetic also won the track's second race, an allowance race on turf, giving the stable three winners on the card.

Multiple graded stakes winner Lazy Lode tops a field of seven entered to the Grade II Arcadia Handicap at 1 1/8 miles on the turf. The Arcadia was run for the previous 13 years as the El Rincon Handicap. Lazy Lode will carry highweight of 121 pounds and will break from post position No. 2.
