The 7-year-old gelding Perfect Drift, a winner of nearly $4.6 million, takes on Woodward (gr. I) winner Premium Tap and five others Saturday in the $350,000 Kentucky Cup Classic (gr. II) at Turfway Park. The race headlines a five-race stakes card worth $825,000 that's loaded with full fields.

Pomeroy, Class Above Choices in Ky. Cup Juvenile Races

Michael Tabor and Derrick Smith's Pomeroy was made the 9-5 morning line choice for the Kentucky Cup Juvenile (gr. III) and Padua Stable's Class Above was given the same listing for the Kentucky Juvenile Fillies by Turfway Park oddsmaker Mike Battaglia for Saturday's 10th running of the Kentucky Cup at the northern Kentucky track.
