KEMI and Race for Education to Hold Texas Hold' Em Tourney

Kentucky Equine Management Internship Program, Inc. (KEMI) and The Race For Education will hold the inaugural Horsemen's Texas Hold'Em Poker Tournament. The $1,000 per seat tournament will be held Nov. 6 at Sal's Italian Chop House in Lexington, Ky., and will accommodate 110 players.

KEMI Establishes Michelle Fuerniss Scholarship Fund

At the request of friends of the Michelle Fuerniss family, the Kentucky Equine Management Internship Program (KEMI) has established a "Michelle Fuerniss Scholarship Fund" in memory of Michelle Fuerniss, a 17-year-old groom who died from chest trauma at the University of Kentucky Hospital on Monday.
