Stonestreet Stables' Jess's Dream, the first foal out of 2009 Horse of the Year Rachel Alexandra, won his highly anticipated career debut in dramatic fashion Aug. 23 at Saratoga Race Course.
Three weeks after his younger half sister beat him to the punch, 3-year-old Jess's Dream will debut in a 1 1/8-mile maiden special weight race Aug. 24 at Saratoga Race Course.

It took Rachel's Valentina a moment to figure out what this racing thing is all about, but once the 2-year-old filly found her stride, there was no stopping her en route to a sparkling debut victory Aug. 2 at Saratoga.

Jess's Dream, one of racing's most highly anticipated 2-year-olds, arrived at the barn of trainer Kiaran McLaughlin at Saratoga the morning of Aug. 3 after a 24-hour van ride from the Stonestreet Training Center in Ocala.

The second foal out of 2009 Horse of the Year Rachel Alexandra was born Feb. 12 at Stonestreet Farms near Lexington, Stonestreet representatives confirmed.
