Sunday, January 27, 2002Circle H Ranch in Murrieta, Ca., will stand Strike Gold and Hollycombe for the 2002 breeding season. Hollycombe is beginning his stallion career for a fee of $3,000. The son of Capote, out of the Proudest Roman mare Confirm, is owned by John Toffan. Hollycombe's biggest race came at age five, when he won the grade II Del Mar Breeders' Cup Handicap, defeating Old Trieste.
