The CFIDS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) Association of America is currently offering a collection of rare black and white photographs of Seabiscuit on eBay, with the proceeds going to the charitable organization.
Seabiscuit, the summer blockbuster about the famous Depression-era racehorse, received seven Academy Award nominations, including one for Best Picture.

Seabiscuit author Laura Hillenbrand has been named the 2003 recipient of the Allaire C. du Pont Humanitarian Award from Thoroughbred Charities of America and writer Bill Nack will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Magazine Writing.

I Two Step Too, a gelding who portrayed the famous Seabiscuit in the soon-to-be-released movie, brought a final bid of $12,000 when he was auctioned Saturday night at the Louisville, Ky. premiere of the Seabiscuit movie.
Laura Hillenbrand, who authored the widely acclaimed best-seller "Seabiscuit: An American Legend," has been named the 2001 winner of the Big Sport of Turfdom award, it was announced Wednesday by Bob Curran Jr., the president of the Turf Publicists of America.
