Veterinarian Asbury Dies at Age 80

Dr. Atwood C. "Woody" Asbury, retired equine veterinarian and a consultant to the Grayson Jockey Club Research Foundation, died Nov. 17 in Versailles, Ky., after a lengthy illness. He was 80.

New Projects to Study Laminitis

Two projects focusing on the equine disease laminitis will be launched soon using funds raised by the National Thoroughbred Racing Association in memory of the late 2006 Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum!
