Dubai Destination stamped himself as a horse to watch by scoring a four-length victory over Tillerman in the Queen Anne Stakes (Eng-I) at Royal Ascot. Right Approach was three-quarters of a length back in third. Favored Hawk Wing finished a dismal seventh in the 10-horse field. The winner completed the mile distance in 1:38.56.

Hawk Wing Heads Record Sussex Stakes Entries

The £285,000 Sussex Stakes at Goodwood on July 30 has attracted a record 78 entries - nine more than last year's total of 69. The entries are headed by the Aidan O'Brien-trained Hawk Wing, who produced a front-running performance in his seasonal debut, the May 17 Juddmonte Lockinge Stakes at Newbury, beating five rivals by at least 11 lengths.

All the leading contenders for the 2003 Vodafone Oaks remain in the June 6 classic after the final forfeit stage on May 22. Godolphin looks to have a particularly strong hand in the £375,000 race over 12 furlongs. The Maktoum family's operation will be aiming for a fourth Oaks success following Balanchine (1994), Moonshell (1995) and Kazzia (2002).

Sulamani and Grandera are both entered in third round of the Al Maktoum Challenge (UAE-II) and are also entered in the two turf programs on the card.
