Riding the crest of the holiday shopping season, the Seabiscuit DVD and VHS burst out of the gate with over $80 million in sales in its first week, making it the year's best-selling drama released on DVD and VHS. Released on December 16, the title sold 5 million units in its first six days of release.

Gary Ross, director and screenwriter of the motion picture "Seabiscuit," will be the keynote speaker at the National Thoroughbred Racing Association (NTRA) annual meeting, which will be held September 21-23 in Las Vegas.
