Direct comparisons with last year's longer five day sale are difficult, but the clearance rate of 69% was significantly up from the first and second day last year and the turnover was greater the first two days combined.

Tattersalls' five-day December foal ended in England Nov. 29 with figures sharply down from 2007's results. The 14,549,100-guinea gross fell 49% while the 25,888-guinea average price declined 29%. The 8,750-guinea median price dropped 56%. Sixty percent of the weanlings offered found new homes.

Consigned by the Irish National Stud, the colt is out of Indienne (by Indian Ridge), who is a full sister to Irish group III winner St Clair Ridge. While racing in America, St Clair Ridge captured the 1999 Marie P. DeBartolo Oaks at Louisiana Downs and the 2000 Hillsborough Stakes at Tampa Bay Downs.
