Scorpion Retired, Fasliyev to Japan

Scorpion, winner of three group I stakes, has been retired from racing and will stand for Coolmore National Hunt at Castle Hyde Stud in Ireland, Coolmore said in a Nov. 9 release. Meanwhile, Coolmore has sold Fasliyev, Europe's 1999 juvenile champion, to a syndicate of Japanese breeders.
