Brother Derek added an exclamation point to his training regimen Sunday morning for trainer Dan Hendricks with a sterling five-furlong breeze in :58 4/5 at Del Mar. Brother Derek has not raced since finishing fourth in the Preakness (gr. I), but is being pointed for Saturday's one-mile El Cajon Stakes.
