The only yearling consigned by the late David Mullins' Doninga sold for $350,000 during the early portion of the third session of the 2008 Keeneland September yearling sale Sept. 10 at the Central Kentucky auction house.

Wednesday, March 26, 2003Unlike Monday's opener, in which only two horses were sold in excess of seven figures, the second session of Keeneland's July Selected Yearling Sale was strong from start to finish. For the entire two-day sale, Keeneland reported 87 yearlings were sold for a total of $42,385,000. The sale average of $487,184 represented a decline of 31.4% from 2001 when 89 horses were sold for a total of $63,212,000 and an average price of $710,247.
Tuesday, July 16, 2002David and Ginger Mullins, best known for selling broodmares under their Doninga banner, are expanding their business into the yearling market this year. They have nominated two horses to the Keeneland July select yearling sale, and they also plan to participate as consignors in other yearling auctions throughout the season.
