In his return to Santa Anita, Game On Dude won for the first time since taking the Santa Anita Handicap (gr. I) in March, holding sway over late-running Awesome Gem in the $250,000 Goodwood Stakes (gr. I) Oct. 1.

Trainer Bob Baffert sent Game On Dude out for a gate tune-up May 31 for the upcoming Belmont Stakes (gr. I). Santa Anita clockers credited the Awesome Again gelding with a six-furlong move in 1:12 2/5 handily.
