Former trainer and now Melbourne-based bloodstock agent Bill Mitchell purchased the 3-year-old filly on behalf of breeder and high profile businessman Sean Buckley.

Trainer John Wallace purchased the two highest-priced lots June 9 during the opening session of the Magic Millions national yearling sale on Australia's Gold Coast. He went to Aust$220,000 (approximately $173,991) to secure a Flying Spur Graceful Lily colt, which was consigned by Vinery Stud. He also purchased an Encosta de Lago Major Drama filly for Aust$145,000 ($114,676) from Coolmore Stud.

The catalog for the Conrad Jupiters Magic Millions yearling sale in Australia has been finalized and can be viewed online at www.magicmillions.com.au. There 1,327 horses entered in the auction, which begins Jan. 7, 2009. Other sessions will be held Jan. 8-11 and Jan. 15 and 16.

The record-breaking 2008 Magic Millions national weanling sale came to a close Friday on Australia's Gold Coast with a general session that generated a gross of Aust$496,600 for the 132 yearlings sold.

A colt by Exceed and Excel was the top seller March 31 during the sixth session of the Conrad Jupiters Magic Millions yearling sale on Australia's Gold Coast. Consigned by Woodlands Stud, agent, the colt was purchased by Queensland-based buyer Alan Acton for $210,000.
