The board of directors of the Thoroughbred Charities of America approved grants exceeding $1,027,250 at its annual board meeting on May 31. Grants of $910,650 will be made immediately with an additional $116,600 held in reserve to be distributed as needed. Fiscal 2003 represents the third consecutive year TCA has approved grants totaling seven figures.
