The William Inglis & Son Australian weanling and breeding stock sale in Sydney ended June 26 with 218 weanlings selling for Aust$3,868,950 (approximately $3,090,556 in U.S. funds). The session topper was a Redoute's Choice--Dancing colt that brought $300,000 ($239,643) from KP Thoroughbreds. Twin Palms, which was handling the Johnson family dispersal, consigned the colt.
The Magic Millions national sale ended June 11 on Australia's Gold Coast with the final session for the yearling portion of the auction and a session for racehorses.
An Anabaa-Botticelli Chic colt brought Aust$140,000 (approximately $111,196) to top the second session of the Magic Millions national yearling sale June 10 on the Gold Coast of Australia. Singapore-based buyer Mark Yong purchased the colt from Attunga Stud.
