Thursday, April 30, 2009A chain-reaction spill involving four horses that started when 2-year-old Irish Tizzy broke down in the far turn of the second race at Golden Gate Fields sent three riders to a local hospital for treatment.
Saturday, November 20, 2004Jockeys David Lopez and Alfredo Miranda, who were injured when their horses fell in Thursday's seventh race, were in stable condition Friday and improving, Bay Meadows track physician Dr. David Seftel reported.
