Odds-on favorite Dubai Escapade set an intimidating pace, then shook off the challenge of Smokey Glacken in upper stretch and powered home to win the $150,000 Vagrancy Handicap (gr. II) for fillies and mares by six lengths at Belmont Park Sunday.

Kimchi Too Hot to Handle in Woodbine Oaks

Kimchi, perfectly handled by jockey Patrick Husbands, took over turning for home and drove to a 1 3/4-length triumph over Sweet Breanna in the $500,000 Labatt Woodbine Oaks, the premier event for Canadian-foaled 3-year-old fillies Sunday in Toronto.

Brass Hat, Buzzards Bay Assigned 121 for Foster H.

Brass Hat, winner of the Donn Handicap (gr. I) and runner-up in the $6 million Dubai World Cup (UAE-I), and Buzzards Bay, winner of the Oaklawn Handicap (gr. II), were assigned high weight of 121 pounds apiece for Saturday's $750,000-added Stephen Foster Handicap (gr. I) at Churchill Downs.
