War Emblem Even Money in Early Wagering

With only $1 million in the pool, War Emblem is even money with those on hand at Belmont Park Saturday to complete the Triple Crown. Of course, there is still an hour until the first race on the Belmont Stakes Day card.

In the early wagering, Magic Weisner, who ran second to War Emblem in the Preakness Stakes (gr. I), is 5-1, followed closely by Perfect Drift, the Kentucky Derby (gr. I) third at 6-1, and Peter Pan (gr. II) winner Sunday Break and Derby second and Preakness third Proud Citizen each at 8-1.

Post time for the Belmont Stakes (gr. I) is 6:10 p.m.
