Edmund Gann's You worked five furlongs at Belmont Park Wednesday ahead of an expected start in the Acorn Stakes (gr. I) at that track on June 7. The Bobby Frankel-trained multiple grade I winner completed the drill in 1:01.33 on the fast surface.
The daughter of You and I finished fourth in the 1 1/8-mile Kentucky Oaks (gr. I) on May 3 at Churchill Downs, and Frankel believes the one-mile trip of the Acorn will better suit You.
"I think You is doing very well," said Frankel. "She needs some time between starts. The Kentucky Oaks may have been too far for her at the time and the Acorn's a prefect fit. She still hasn't blossomed yet."
You will likely face Michael Tabor's Bella Bellucci in the Acorn.
Frankel also sent out Lido Palace for exercise Wednesday. The Whitney (gr. I) and Woodward (gr. I) winner went six furlongs in 1:16.61.
