Youbet.com Promotes Seven Managers

Youbet.com announced the promotion of seven managers Wednesday. Leading the list are former jockey agent Jeff Franklin who has become vice president of product management and Chris McConnell who is now executive director of track relations and player development.

Franklin joined the California-based interactive horse racing and wagering service in 1994 and has been responsible for developing customer support systems and racing products. His 30 years of experience with horse racing includes 15 years as agent for top jockeys Gary Stevens, Pat Valenzuela, and Jose Santos.

McConnell joined Youbet.com in 1999 and has been responsible for daily racing operations. He has 17 years of corporate experience in the areas of sales and service operations.

Other people promoted within Youbet.com are Lucky Kalanges, who has become manager of racing operations, Cliff Robinson who is the new racing operations supervisor, Archi Padilla was appointed head of member services, Michael Jackson has been appointed director of special projects, and Joseph Hasson is now vice president of business development.
