The stakes action begins Saturday with the $200,000 Peter Pan (gr. II) for 3-year-olds at nine furlongs. This is a race that will have a bearing on the Belmont Stakes. Hall of Fame trainer Neil Drysdale will saddle Sunday Break in the Peter Pan.

Sunday Break, a son of Forty Niner, ran third by a half-length to Buddha in Aqueduct's Wood Memorial (gr. I) on April 13th.

The Peter Pan will also be a Belmont Stakes prep for Puzzlement, who won a nine-furlong Aqueduct allowance on May 3rd. Puzzlement is trained by "The Giant Killer," Hall of fame trainer Allen Jerkins. Also expected in the Peter Pan are Fast Decision, Heir D'Twine, and Ibn al Haitham. Questionable are Deputy Dash and Essayons.

On Sunday, turf fans will get a full field for the $75,000 Kingston Handicap for New York-bred at nine furlongs on the grass. Affair in the Air, Bicentennial, Brave One, Chasin' Wimmin, Eye of the Comet, Haggs Castle, I'm All Yours, Light Up The Sky, No White Flags, Quiet Ruler, Reluctant Groom, Robbie's Rockin and Whitmore's Conn.

On Memorial Day, the $750,000 Metropolitan Handicap (gr. I), takes center stage as Affirmed Success brings a two-race winning streak to the Met Mile. His most recent victory was in the Carter Handicap (gr. I) at Aqueduct.
Expected to challenge Affirmed Success in the Met Mile are Aldebaran, Burning Roma, Crafty C.T., D'Wildcat, E Dubai, Grey Memo, Left Bank, Redattore, Voodoo and Wake at Noon, with Swept Overboard listed as questionable.

The Monday card also features the $100,000 Jaipur Handicap (gr. IIIT) for 3-year-olds and up at seven furlongs on the turf. Vying here will be Capsized, French Envoy, Grangeville, Ing Ing, River Rush, Shadow Caster, Shibboleth, Treasured Gift and Watchman's Warning.
