First Winners for Double Honor, Denouncer

Graded stakes winner Double Honor was represented by his first winner when Lady Honoree won May 20 at Calder Race Course. Bred by Farnsworth Farms, the filly won the five-furlong race by 8 1/2 lengths in 1:00.38 for farm owner Michael Sherman. Double Honor (Gone West--Holiday Snow, by Storm Bird) stands at Farnsworth near Ocala, Fla.

Denouncer's first winner, To Be Announced, won the same afternoon at Hawthorne in his initial start. The colt races for Swearingen Racing Stable and partners. Denouncer (Tsunami Slew--Queen Marlene, by Timeless Moment) stands at Lindenwood Farm near Sheffield, Ill.
