Arroyo Injured in Spill at Belmont Park

Jockey Norberto Arroyo Jr. was hospitalized Friday after being dumped from his mount during the seventh race at Belmont Park.
Arroyo was aboard Red Jelly when the filly appeared to clip heels causing Arroyo to fall to the turf course near the eighth pole. After several minutes, Arroyo rose to his feet and walked to an ambulance.
Arroyo complained of dizziness and pain in his neck.
