Queen's Logic, the One Thousand Guineas (Eng-I) future book favorite, may not run in Sunday's race at Newmarket after she was found lame Saturday.
A spokesperson for the stable said, "A decision will not be made until Sunday as to whether she will run in the Guineas."
Queen's Logic has won all five of her career starts, including the Cheveley Park Stakes (Eng-I) last year and the Dubai Duty Free Stakes (UAE-III) in her only start as a 3-year-old.
With the news, English bookmakers have made Gossamer the 7-4 favorite.
Gossamer is by Sadler's Wells and a full sister of Barathea, who finished second in the 2,000 Guineas. Gossamer is unraced this year, but won all three of her starts as a juvenile, including the Meon Valley Stud Fillies' Mile (Eng-I) at Ascot last September.
