Michael Tabor's Bella Bellucci, who was scratched Wednesday from the Kentucky Oaks, will point for the filly Triple Tiara in New York, trainer Neil Drysdale said Thursday. The first race in the series is the June 7 Acorn Stakes.

"She's fine," Drysdale said. "I just didn't like what I saw when the results of her blood work came back yesterday. It's a long year, and I have to do what's best for the horse, so I scratched her."

Bella Bellucci, who was the 3-1 second choice on the morning line for the Oaks, has lost just once in five career races. The daughter of French Deputy captured the Comely and Santa Paula Stakes earlier this year.

Bella Bellucci jogged Thursday morning at Churchill Downs after being treated.
