Travel Plans Finalized For Irish Horses, Buddha, U S S Tinosa

The Aidan O'Brien-trained duo of Johannesburg and Castle Gandola will arrive in Lexington, Ky. around 5:10 p.m. (ET) Tuesday and will undergo quarantine for 48 hours at Keeneland Racecourse. They will resume training once they have cleared quarantine and will ship to Churchill Downs on Derby Day.

Meanwhile, trainer H. James Bond said Wood Memorial winner Buddha is scheduled to depart New York by van at 7:00 p.m. (ET) Monday and will be in Louisville early Tuesday after the 10- 12-hour drive.

The only other Derby hopeful not on the grounds yet, Northern California-based U S S Tinosa, will be flown to Louisville along with a stablemate on Tuesday. He is scheduled to be at the track by 4 p.m. (ET).
