NYRA Stewards Hand Trainer 60-Day Suspension

Trainer Edward Barker was suspended for 60 days after The Conquerer tested positive for a prohibited substance following a third-place finish in a race in mid-January at Aqueduct.
Barker has appealed the suspension, and a stay has been granted as the New York State Racing and Wagering Board reviews the matter.
The Conquerer has since been claimed by owner-trainer Douglas Shanyfelt.
