Trainer Bobby Frankel has confirmed that Arlington Million (gr. I) winner Chester House has been retired from racing as the result of an undisclosed injury. Owner Juddmonte Farms is expected to issue a statement detailing plans for Chester House early in the week.A winner of six races from 21 career starts, Chester House retires with career earnings of $1,944,545. Chester House (Mr. Prospector--Toussaud, by El Gran Senor), a 5-year-old Juddmonte Farms homebred and a half-sister to grade I winner Honest Lady, was expected to begin stud duty at Juddmonte's North American division near Lexington following his Breeders' Cup campaign.Besides the Arlington Million, Chester House won the 1999 Brigadier Gerard Stakes (Eng-III). In his first North American start, he finished fourth -- beaten by 3 1/4 lengths -- in last year's Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I).
