It'sallinthechase, worked over the Churchill main track Sunday.
With the track sealed overnight to block out the rains that soaked Louisville, Ky., there were fast times posted on the Sunday morning workout tab at Churchill Downs.

Two contenders for this year's Kentucky Derby--Peachtree Stable's Wild Horses and Darwin Olson's It'sallinthechase--highlighted the morning workouts.

On the track after it was harrowed during the maintenance break, Arkansas Derby runner-up Wild Horses was timed by trainer Todd Pletcher in 1:01 1/5 for his five furlong workout, getting the final quarter mile in :24 1/5. Pletcher said Wild Horses galloped out six furlongs in 1:15 in what will be his final workout before the Derby.

"The track maybe was a touch deeper after the break," Pletcher said. "With only one work between the Arkansas Derby and the Kentucky Derby, we didn't want to leave his race on the track. It was a very steady work all the way around. He's not blowing hard. He's very fit right now and I don't think he needs more than one work."

Meanwhile, trainer Wilson Brown got It'sallinthechase in 1:00 3/5 for his five furlong work before the break. "I was very pleased," Brown said. "I looked at the track and decided it was fast kind of perfect for the work."

Both Pletcher and Brown both complimented Churchill's track maintenance department for the efforts in sealing the track and having it ready for the works.
