Silent Honor has been withdrawn from the Sagitta One Thousand Guineas (Eng-I) due to an entrapped epiglottis discovered after a Friday morning work at Al Quoz. With Silent Honor out, Godolphin has only Kazzia in the first classic race of the season for fillies.

The stable reported the Sunday Silence filly worked well, but a later endoscopic examination revealed the problem. Silent Honor will undergo a surgical procedure to correct the problem and will likely be pointed toward the Irish 1,000 Guineas (Ire-I) on May 26 at the Curragh.

Kentucky Derby candidate Saarland had surgery to repair an entrapped epiglottis following his fourth-place finish in the Wood Memorial (gr. I).

Silent Honor has won two of three career starts, including the Cherry Hinton Stakes (Eng-II) at Newmarket last July. She completed her juvenile campaign with a third-place finish behind Queen's Logic and Sophisticat in August's Lowther Stakes (Eng-II) and is unraced since. Silent Honor's third dam, Pasadoble, produced two-time Breeders' Cup Mile (gr. IT) winner Miesque, winner of the French and English 1,000 Guineas.

Kazzia is an undefeated German-bred daughter of Zinaad. Following her maiden win in September, she returned to win the Premio Dormello (Ity-III) by 2 1/4 lengths while trained by Andreas Wohler.
