Concerto's First Starter a Winner at Keeneland

Collymore Hall, the first starter from the first foal crop of Jim Beam Stakes (gr. II) winner Concerto, won his debut race Thursday at Keeneland. Under Jerry Bailey, Eugene and Laura Melnyk's Todd Pletcher trainee completed the 4 1/2 furlongs in :52.78, 6 1/2 lengths ahead of Unforgettable Too.

Concerto won 10 of 21 starts, including four graded stakes races and four other stakes. He earned $1,308,118 in his three-year racing career. He stands in Florida at Ocala Stud Farm.

Collymore Hall is out of Dame Georgette, by No Sale George, and paid $3.80 for the win as the 9-10 favorite. J.M. O'Farrell and Edward Weist bred Collymore Hall in Florida.
