The closing week of Keeneland's 16-day meet gets underway with Wednesday's $100,000 Elkhorn Stakes (gr. IIIT), going 12 furlongs on the turf, showcases a 10-horse field of turf marathoners.

Leading the field is Dr. John Chandler's Cetewayo. Runner-up in the Pan American Handicap (gr. IIT) at Gulfstream Park in his last start, the 8-year-old son of His Majesty also won the Gulfstream Park Breeders' Cup Handicap (gr. IT) this year. Trainer Michael Dickinson has hired Jerry Bailey to guide his charge, who brings a lifetime bankroll of $830,543 into the race.

Jockey Mark Guidry gets the call on Eugene and Laura Melnyk's Lodge Hill for trainer Todd Pletcher. In his last out, April 6, Lodge Hill was second in a 12-furlong allowance at Keeneland.

The Elkhorn field from the rail out includes: Profit Option (Robby Albarado); Craigsteel (Jose Santos); Classic Par (Craig Perret); Seattle Night (Jon Court); Cetewayo (Bailey); Full of Wonder (Eddie Martinez): Lodge Hill (Guidry); Kim Loves Bucky (Jorge Chavez); Rochester (Pat Day); and Bourbon Boogie (Larry Melancon).
