Bella Bellucci Breezes at Churchill

Michael Tabor's Kentucky Oaks (gr. I) hopeful Bella Bellucci breezed four furlongs at Churchill Downs Saturday, getting the distance in :47 3/5 on a fast track. The daughter French Deputy worked under exercise rider Marcelino Olguin at around 5:45 a.m., well before rains turned the track sloppy.
After completing the half-mile, Bella Bellucci galloped out five furlongs in 1:00.
"She went well," said Drysdale.
Bella Bellucci won the April 14 Comely Stakes (gr. III) at Aqueduct, her fourth win in five career starts and second in two starts as a 3-year-old.
