Cobra King Colt Fastest Quarter-Mile Worker in OBS Under Tack Show

With a quarter-mile in :21 1/5, a colt by Cobra King posted the fastest work at the distance Thursday during the second under tack show for the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's April juvenile auction. Consigned by M & H Training and Sales, agent, the colt is out of Daughter of Wolf, by Wolf Power, and is a half brother to stakes placed Stiltsville. M & H purchased the colt for $13,000 at the 2001 Keeneland September yearling sale.

The session's fastest eighth was turned in by Solamente, a filly by Helmsman. Consigned by Indian Prairie Ranch, agent for her breeder, Dr. R.G. Lundock, she is out of stakes-placed Dell Rapids (by Procida).

A pair of youngsters shared honors for the fastest three-eighths move, getting the distance in :34. Heavenly Miss, is a filly by Suave Prospect out of Heavenly Hash (by Rising Market). Consigned by Farnsworth Farms, agent, she is a half-sister to stakes-placed Berlinette and Heavenly Papa P.R. Her time was equaled by an El Prado colt out of stakes winner J'Aime Jeblis (by Jeblar). Mark Casse, agent, is the colt's consignor.

Under tack shows are also scheduled for Friday and Saturday, beginning at 9 a.m. (EDT) each day. The sale will be conducted April 22-25, with sessions starting at 10:30 a.m. (EDT) daily.
